[origin: US5000703A] The invention relates to a connector bank for conductors, in particular of telecommunication and data systems, comprising a bank body 6 with at least one line of insulation displacement contacts 4 provided with contact slots 5 for the conductors 7. According to the invention, there is provided for connecting shielded cables 22 a shield connecting element 1 consisting of a U-shaped, bent sheet piece 2, the legs 3 of which are insertable into the contact slots 5 of two insulation displacement contact elements 4 and the base 17 of which is provided with a shield connecting contact 19 for connecting the shield cable 21 of the cables 22, the spacing of the legs 3 corresponding at least to twice the spacing of two adjacent insulation displacement contact elements 4.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Anschlußleiste für Kabel, insbesondere der Fernmelde- und Datentechnik, aus einem Leistenkörper (6) mit mindestens einer Reihe von mit Kontaktschlitzen (5) versehenen Schneid-Klemm-Kontaktelementen (4) für die Kabel (7). Erfindungsgemäß ist zum Anschluß abgeschirmter Kabel (7) ein Schirmanschlußelement (1) aus einem U-förmig gebogenen Blechteil (2) vorgesehen, dessen Schenkel (3) in die Kontaktschlitze (5) zweier Schneid-Klemm-Kontaktelemente (4) einsteckbar sind und dessen Basis (17) mit einem Schirmanschlußkontakt (19) zum Anschluß der Schirmdräht (22) der Kabel (7) versehen ist, wobei der Abstand der Schenkel (3) voneinander mindestens dem doppelten Abstand zweier benachbarter Schneid-Klemm-Kontaktelemente (4) entspricht.
