[origin: EP0382598A1] The suction nozzle comprises, on the one hand, a casing (1) provided with a suction manifold (3) and integral with a foot-piece (7) which delimits, between skids, (8) at least one channel (6) connecting, through at least one passage (5), with the said manifold and, on the other hand, a mobile platen (9) fitted with a rectilinear brush (22) traversing a peripheral slit (20) produced between the foot-piece and the casing, this platen being controlled by an operating device (12). According to the invention the rectilinear brush (22) and a scraper device (27) made from flexible material are mounted on the platen (9), either one of them being in front of the channel (6) and the other one being behind it or vice versa, the scraper device (27) extending parallel to the brush (22) up to a level lower than the brush and more or less close depending on the flexibility of this scraper device and the desired effect. <IMAGE>
