Abstract (en)

The table frame, bearing a table top (2), of a writing or working table has a fixed cross-beam (8) extending in the longitudinal direction of the table at the front and at the top in the region of the front edge (9) of the table top (2). The cross-beam (8) is mounted in front of the front edge (9) of the table top and forms a resting depression (18) which is open towards the top. Arranged on the outside (19) of the cross-beam (8) is a covering part (25) which extends at least over the length of the resting depression (18), is rotatable around the cross-beam (8) and, during rotation, covers the resting depression (18) in its upwardly rotated position and exposes it in its downwardly rotated position. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Das eine Tischplatte (2) tragende Tischgestell eines Schreib- oder Arbeitstisches weist eine vorne oben im Bereich der Vorderkante (9) der Tischplatte (2) in Tischlängsrichtung verlaufende, feststehende Traverse (8) auf. Die Traverse (8) ist der Tischplattenvorderkante (9) vorgelagert und bildet eine nach oben offene Ablagevertiefung (18). An der Außenseite (19) der Traverse (8) ist ein sich mindestens über die Länge der Ablagevertiefung (18) erstreckendes Abdeckteil (25) angeordnet, das um die Traverse (8) herum drehbar ist und dabei die Ablagevertiefung (18) in seiner nach oben gedrehten Lage abdeckt und in seiner nach unten gedrehten Lage freigibt.
