[origin: EP0382909A2] In a loading carrier for drafting arrangements of a spinning machine, with a carrier receiving pressure rollers and pivotable about a stationary holding rod and with a loading lever, the loading lever is guided by means of a guide element on a predetermined path of movement which is so defined in relation to the holding rod that, after a predetermined pivoting travel in the opening direction, the loading lever can be moved further only with the accompanying pivoting of the carrier about the holding rod. Furthermore, on the lock there is a notch which is assigned to the opened position and into which the loading lever can engage with a locking element from the position pivoted away completely. <IMAGE>
