In a two-wing window with two wings (3) and (4) arranged one above the other, an especially compact furniture design in the region of the tilting axis of the upper wing and of the associated articulation of a setting-out arm of the lower turn-and-tilt wing is obtained if these two bearings are united to form a combined tilt and scissor bearing with a common basic body (9). In the vertical direction, that is to say in the direction of the axis of rotation of the lower wing or of the two wings, a short constructional length is obtained, with the result that the two wings can be brought near to one another and it is possible to use a narrow profile for the abutment (2) between the two wings. Bei einem zweiflügeligen Fenster mit zwei übereinander angeordneten Flügeln (3) und (4) erreicht man eine besonders kompakte Beschlagausbildung im Bereich der Kippachse des oberen Flügels sowie der zugeordneten Anlenkung eines Ausstellarms des unteren dreh- und kippbaren Flügels dadurch, daß man diese beiden Lager zu einem kombinierten Kipp- und Scherenlager mit einem gemeinsamen Grundkörper (9) zusammenfaßt. In vertikaler Richtung, d.h. in Richtung der Drehachse des unteren Flügels oder auch beider Flügel ergibt sich eine kurze Baulänge, wodurch die beiden Flügel nah aneinandergerückt werden können und die Verwendung eines schmalen Profils für den Kämpfer (2) zwischen den beiden Flügeln möglich ist. Um trotz dieser kurzen Baulänge die Befestigungsschrauben (24, 25) auch bei einer schmalen Befestigungsplatte (17) des Grundkörpers (9) bequem erreichen zu können, andererseits aber keine Nachteile beim Ein- und Aushängen des Flügels (3) in Kauf zu müssen, läßt sich der Lagerzapfen (16) des drehachsseitigen Kipplagers über die bekannte Schräglage solcher Lager hinaus verschwenken. Dies ist möglich, weil der Lagerzapfen (16) in seiner üblicherweise die maximal verschwenkte Stellung darstellenden Schräglage, vorzugsweise mit der Kante (18) seines Lagerauges (19) an einem Anschlag (20) des Grundkörpers (9) anliegt, und dieser Anschlag federelastisch überwunden werden kann.
