Known magnet armatures for electromagnetically operated valves are produced from the solid material and have a relatively high weight, resulting in switching times which are insufficiently short. The new magnet armature is intended to be easily producible and to have a low intrinsic weight. In order to be able to provide the magnet armature (12) with a wall of small thickness, the said armature is designed as a sheet-metal strip, rolled in a circular manner, whose sheet-metal strip end surfaces (58, 59) are located at a distance opposite one another, forming an armature slot (60). The magnet armature is used in a fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems for internal-combustion engines. <IMAGE>

Bekannte Magnetanker für elektromagnetisch betätigbare Ventile werden aus dem vollen Material herausgearbeitet und weisen ein relativ hohes Gewicht auf, so daß sich nicht ausreichend kurze Schaltzeiten ergeben. Der neue Magnetanker soll einfach herstellbar sein und ein geringes Eigengewicht aufweisen. Um den Magnetanker (12) mit einer Wandung geringer Dicke versehen zu können, ist er als ein kreisförmig gerollter Blechstreifen ausgebildet, dessen Blechstreifen-Endflächen (58, 59) einen Ankerschlitz (60) bildend mit Abstand einander gegenüber liegen. Der Magnetanker findet Verwendung bei einem Kraftstoffeinspritzventil für Kraftstoffeinspritzanlagen von Brennkraftmaschinen.
