Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02240592A] PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of the side of the timepiece by providing a radial gap between cylindrical surfaces, bringing a frustum of circular cone provided below a cap into contact with the frustum-of-circular-cone surface of an intermediate part, and fitting an annular fixed element made of a deformable material between the cylindrical surfaces. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate component 1 has a lower part 6 and an upper part 7 so as to contain a movement 5, and the part 6 is united with the movement 4. The top surface of the part 7 is flat and an outside surface 9 is cylindrical; and an inside surface 10 is slightly in the shape of a frustum of circular cone and the bottom part of the inside surface 10 is limited by a shoulder part 11. A cap 2 has a thicker annular part 18 and a thinner radial-side part 19. The inside of the part 19 is limited by the cylindrical surface, the lower side is limited by an inside frustum-of-circular-cone surface 21 having the same slope with the top surface 14, and the upper side is limited by a frustum-of-circular-cone surface 22 formed by cutting the level of the peak part 23 of the part 19. Parts 1 and 2 are fixed with a ring 31 made of a deformable material, e.g., elastomer. This ring 31 is put in a radial gap formed between shaft surfaces 20 and 9 and positioned along the height by coming into contact with the surfaces 13 and 21.
