[origin: CA2007875A1] Electric heating apparatus Electric heating apparatus comprising at least one electrical heating resistor (24) arranged in a body (1) of sheet metal provided with an air inlet in its lower part and an air outlet in its upper part, characterized in that the body (1) is formed by a double-walled hollow element in the form of a trough (2, 3) provided with end walls (14, 15) and at least one opening (12) for the entry of air and defining a first space (20) for the admission of air, in that the electrical resistor (24) is mounted on the concave part of the double-walled element in the form of a trough (2, 3) on the exterior of the latter, a perforated panel (30) being arranged on the said concave wall and defining with the latter a second space (33) for the heating of the air by convection and for the direct radiation of the heat by the resistor through the perforations in the perforated panel, at least one opening (35, 36) being made in the said hollow element (2, 3) in order to put the first and second spaces (20, 33) in communication and at least one passage (31c) for the discharge of hot air being provided between the hollow element (2, 3) and a lateral edge of the perforated panel (30).

Appareil de chauffage électrique comprenant au moins une résistance électrique de chauffage (24) disposée dans un corps (1) en tôle métallique pourvu d'une entrée d'air à sa partie inférieure et d'une sortie d'air à sa partie supérieure, caractérisé en ce que le corps (1) est constitué par un élément creux à double paroi, en forme de gouttière (2,3) pourvu de parois d'extrémités (14,15) et d'au moins une ouverture (12) d'entrée d'air et définissant un premier volume (20) d'admission d'air, en ce que la résistance électrique (24) est montée sur la partie concave de l'élément à double paroi en forme de gouttière (2,3) à l'extérieur de celui-ci, un panneau perforé (30) étant disposé sur ladite paroi en creux et définissant avec celle-ci un second volume (33) d'échauffement de l'air par convection et de rayonnement direct de la chaleur par la résistance aux travers des perforations du panneau perforé, au moins une ouverture (35,36) étant ménagée dans ledit élément creux (2,3) pour mettre en communication les premier et second volumes (20,33) et au moins un passage (31c) d'évacuation d'air chaud étant ménagé entre l'élément creux (2,3) et un bord latéral du panneau perforé (30).
