This structural unit comprises two lateral walls (1) connected by means of two webs (2) and is characterised in that the webs are vertically offset in relation to the two lateral walls (1) in order to project from one of the horizontal faces (FH) of the unit and to withstand the transfer of the loads resulting from the superposed assembly of the units. La présente invention concerne un bloc de construction à assemblage à sec ainsi qu'une construction édifiée à l'aide de tels blocs. Ce bloc de construction comprend deux parois latérales (1) reliées par deux âmes (2) et est caractérisé en ce que les âmes sont verticalement décalées par rapport aux deux parois latérales (1) pour faire saillie de l'une des faces horizontales (FH) du bloc et supporter le transfert des charges résultant de l'assemblage superposé des blocs. Un tel bloc de construction permet l'édification à sec de murs d'un type et d'un usage quelconques.
