Abstract (en)
Retaining ring made of plastic material for metal packages intended in particular for the transport of liquid or powdery materials defined as dangerous, formed from a body (2, 17) and its cover (3), the cover (3) being stiffened by a peripheral groove (8), the diameter of the opening being close to the diameter of the container. The invention is more particularly applied to the transport of materials defined as dangerous by Transport Regulations. Such materials defined as dangerous include paints and other materials likely to contain solvents. <IMAGE>

Anneau de sécurité en matière plastique pour emballages métalliques destinés notamment au transport de matières dites dangereuses, liquides ou pulvérulentes, formés d'un corps (2, 17) et de son couvercle (3), le couvercle (3) étant rigidifié par une gorge périphérique (8), le diamètre de l'ouverture étant proche du diamètre du récipient. L'invention s'applique notamment et de façon plus particulière au transport de matières dites dangereuses au sens du Règlement des Transports. On peut citer, parmi de telles matières dites dangereuses, les peintures et autres matières susceptibles de contenir des solvants.
