[origin: WO8903076A1] A bearing sensing device for use in an automatic vehicle guidance system has a lens, such as a fish eye lens (50) or a spherical reflecting lens (60), having a substantial angle of view in elevation and almost a full 360 view in azimuth. Light from the lens (50, 60) is focused onto a substantially annular photo detector (54), which is connected to means for relating a focusing point (72) on the photo detector (54) to a reference axis.

Un dispositif détecteur de relèvement, destiné à être utilisé dans un système de pilotage de véhicule automatique, comprend une lentille, telle qu'une lentille à grand-angulaire extrême (50) ou une lentille réfléchissante sphérique (60), ayant un champ angulaire important en projection verticale et un champ visuel presque de 360° en projection azimutale. La lumière provenant de la lentille (50, 60) est focalisée sur un photo-détecteur sensiblement annulaire (54), qui est relié à un organe servant à rapporter sur un axe de référence un point de focalisation (72) situé sur le photo-détecteur (54).
