[origin: WO9001975A1] A ball-throwing device, in particular for tennis balls (5), comprises a ball magazine (2), a ball-ejecting device (3) and a delivery device (6), which delivers the balls (5) individually from the ball magazine (2) to the ball-ejecting device (3). The ball-ejecting device (3) projects each ball in function of one its pre-programmable shooting settings which govern the speed, spin and/or direction of projection of the ball (5). The variable frequency of delivery of the delivery device (6) is controlled in function of the shooting settings of the ball-ejecting device (3), each shooting setting used by the ball-ejecting device for projecting a ball (5) being associated with a time interval which determines the delivery of the next ball by the delivery device (6). The intervals between balls can therefore be adapted to the relevant ball characteristics as in a real game.

Un dispositif de lancement de balles, notamment pour balles de tennis (5), comprend un magasin de balles (2), un dispositif d'éjection de balles (3) et un dispositif d'amenée (6), lequel amène les balles (5) individuellement du magasin de balles (2) au dispositif d'éjection (3). Ce dernier lance chaque balle en fonction de l'un de ses réglages de tir pré-programmables qui régissent la vitesse, la giration et/ou la direction de lancement de la balle (5). La fréquence variable d'amenée du dispositif (6) prévu à cet effet est régulée en fonction des réglages de tir du dispositif d'éjection de balles (3), chaque réglage de tir utilisé par ledit dispositif pour lancer une balle (5) étant associé à un intervalle de temps qui détermine l'amenée de la balle suivante par le dispositif d'amenée (6). Les intervalles entre les balles peuvent donc être adaptés aux caractéristiques respectives de la balle comme dans un vrai jeu.
