[origin: EP0384101A1] In order to ensure in a recirculating grinding plant having a choke feed roll press (27), tube mill (26) and air classifier (10) with recirculation of the classifier oversizes that as far as possible no energy-consuming problems relating to ventilation and the pressing of material occur in the choke bed in the roll nip of the roll press, it is proposed to build into the recirculating grinding plant an air classifier (10) such as is characterised by at least two mutually separate oversize removal openings, to be precise a removal opening (19, 20) for coarse oversizes and a removal opening (22, 23) separate therefrom for finer oversizes, and to recirculate to the high-pressure roll press (27) only the coarse oversizes, and to the tube mill (26) only the finer oversizes. <IMAGE>
