Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0384147A1] In the overlapping formation (S') to be wound up together with a winding band (4) into a roll, the individual multi-sheet double-folded printing products (3) are inclined at a small angle ( alpha ) with respect to the conveying direction (B). The laterally protruding corners (3c, 3d) of the printing products (3) here lie on imaginary straight lines (7, 8) which run parallel to the conveying direction (B). The lateral folded edges (3b) of the printing products (3) are mutually offset by a certain amount (a) in a direction (C) running transversely with respect to the conveying direction (B). The lateral folded edges (3b) therefore do not come to lie one above the other during winding-up, this preventing a thickened region on one side of the roll. <IMAGE>
