In this railway sleeping carriage, compartments (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6) are provided which are arranged in the central part of the carriage and are accessible from a continuous longitudinal corridor (7). Two adjacent compartments have a common access. From the longitudinal corridor (7) a lower flight of stairs (13) leads to the compartments (10.3; 10.4) located on the lower level and an upper flight of stairs (15) to the compartments (10.5; 10.6) located on the upper level. The vestibules (11; 12; 14) connected by the flights of stairs (13; 15) are arranged outside the compartments (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6). Either the compartments (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6) can be closed off from the vestibule (11; 12) or the vestibule (11; 12) from the common access using compartment doors. When the common access is closed off, the vestibule (11; 12) forms a passage between two adjacent compartments. <IMAGE>

Bei diesem Eisenbahn-Schlafwagen sind im Mittelteil des Wagens zweistöckig angeordnete Abteile (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6) vorgesehen, die von einem durchgehenden Längsgang (7) zugänglich sind. Zwei benachbarte Abteile weisen einen gemeinsamen Zugang auf. Vom Längsgang (7) führt eine untere Treppe (13) zu den auf Unterdeck-Niveau liegenden Abteilen (10.3; 10.4) und eine obere Treppe (15) zu den auf Oberdeck-Niveau liegenden Abteilen (10.5; 10.6). Die durch die Treppen (13; 15) verbundenen Vorräume (11; 12; 14) sind ausserhalb der Abteile (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6) angeordnet. Mit Abteiltüren sind entweder die Abteile (10.3; 10.4; 10.5; 10.6) gegen den Vorraum (11; 12) oder der Vorraum (11; 12) gegen den gemeinsamen Zugang abschliessbar. Bei Abschluss des gemeinsamen Zugangs bildet der Vorraum (11; 12) einen Durchgang zwischen zwei benachbarten Abteilen.
