[origin: US5020241A] In the sieve drum device, a screen cover is not arranged, as customary, horizontally with sieve drums located, for example, in side-by-side relationship, but rather concentrically surrounds the respective sieve drum in the region covered by the material. Bei der Siebtrommelvorrichtung ist die Siebdecke (14, 15) nicht wie üblich horizontal bei z.B. nebeneinander angeordneten Siebtrommeln (4, 5) angeordnet, sondern sie umgibt die jeweilige Siebtrommel (4, 5) im vom Gut bedeckten Bereich konzentrisch. Um eine leichtere Reinigung der Siebdecke (14, 15) zu ermöglichen, ist sie um ein Gelenk (16, 17), das parallel zur Siebtrommelachse angeordnet ist, verschwenkbar.
