A fireproof fixing device for single- or multi-pane glazing is shown, in which the pane or the panes (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) is or are arranged between a holding profile (12) and a holding strip (17) and sealing elements (10, 11) which are mounted between the latter components (12, 17) and the pane or the panes. Apart from the holding profile shown in three variants, particular importance is also attached to the seals (10, 11), which are formed from a swell mat or mineral fibres. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine brandsichere Halterung für eine Ein- oder Mehrscheibenverglasung aufgezeigt, bei welcher die Scheibe bzw. die Scheiben (1a,1b, 2a, 2b) zwischen einem Halteprofil (12) und einer Halteleiste (17) und zwischen diesen und der Scheibe bzw. den Scheiben (1a,1b,2a,2b) angebrachten Dichtelementen (10, 11) angeordnet ist bzw. sind. Außer dem in drei Varianten aufgezeigten Halteprofil (12) kommt den aus einer Quellmatte oder Mineralfasern gebildeten Dichtungen (10, 11) besondere Bedeutung zu.
