[origin: EP0384505A1] Process for coating wires with an insulating lacquer based on polyesterimide, polyester or polyurethane. The lacquer may be 1) a polyesterimide or polyester wire lacquer containing a) 2 to 20 parts by weight of electrically conductive soot or b) 50 to 110 parts by weight of graphite or c) 1 to 12 parts by weight of soot and 50 to 110 parts by weight of graphite, or 2) a polyurethane wire lacquer containing a) 5 to 50 parts by weight of electrically conductive soot or b) 2 to 40 parts by weight of graphite or c) 1 to 35 parts by weight of soot and 2 to 115 parts by weight of graphite, or 3) a polyamide-imide wire lacquer containing a) 1 to 10 parts by weight of electrically conductive soot or b) 60 to 110 parts by weight of graphite or c) 1 to 10 parts by weight of soot and 60 to 110 parts by weight of graphite, all quantities being referred to 100 parts by weight of binder.
