Abstract (en)
The device has a rotary mechanism (1), a striking mechanism (3) and a feed drive (4) for driving and feeding a drill rod (2). The striking frequency of the striking mechanism (3) is proportional to the rotary speed of the rotary mechanism (1). The feed force is set with a valve (44). A variable restrictor (56) in the return of the feed drive (4) produces a dynamic pressure proportional to the feed rate. The dynamic pressure actuates a proportional valve (28) which feeds more oil to the rotary mechanism (1) in the case of a greater feed rate. Thus optimum adaptation of the rotary speed and striking frequency to the feed and therefore an optimum advance for different types of rock are obtained. In addition, the solution shown minimises the tool wear. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Vorrichtung hat ein Drehwerk (1), ein Schlagwerk (3) und einen Vorschubantrieb (4) zum Antrieb und Vorschub einer Bohrstange (2). Die Schlagfrequenz des Schlagwerkes (3) ist proportional zur Drehzahl des Drehwerks (1). Mit einem Ventil (44) wird die Vorschubkraft eingestellt. Eine variable Drossel (56) im Rücklauf des Vorschubantriebs (4) erzeugt einen zur Vorschubgeschwindigkeit proportionalen Staudruck. Der Staudruck betätigt ein Proportionalventil (28), dass dem Drehwerk (1) bei grösserer Vorschubgeschwindigkeit mehr Oel zuführt. Damit gelingt eine optimale Anpassung der Drehzahl und Schlagfrequenz an den Vorschub und deshalb ein für unterschiedliche Gesteinsarten optimaler Vortrieb. Die dargestellte Lösung minimiert zudem den Werkzeugverschleiss.
