[origin: US5060878A] An unwinding device for a machine for the processing of strip material has a pair of arms which receive the roll between them and are movable toward and away from one another by a spindle having threaded portions of opposite hand engaging the respective arms. A bearing sleeve axially entraining the spindle is engaged between the fork shanks which are connected to a piston rod of a double acting cylinder mounted on the traverse along which the arms are guided to adjust the arms in axial direction transverse to the web feed direction.

Vorrichtung, wobei eine in einem Maschinengestell schwenkbar gelagerte Traverse (3) auf Führungsbahnen (7) paarweise verschiebbare Traghebel (9) für je einem Wickel (11) aufnimmt und wobei eine durch einen Spindelmotor (23) antreibbare Spindel (16) Abschnitte (14;15) gegensinniger Steigung aufweist und mit je einem Abschnitt in eine Spindelmutter (13) eines Traghebels eingreift. Das technische Problem ist eine Integration der Abrollvorrichtung in die nachfolgende Bearbeitungsmaschine unter Beibehaltung der Querverstellung des Wickels. Ein Stellzylinder (21) ist an der Traverse (3) befestigt, und dessen in Achsrichtung der Traverse (3) ausgerichtete Kolbenstange (20) ist mit einer Lagerbüchse (17) der Spindel (14, 15, 16) gekoppelt.
