Abstract (en)

The milling machine for longitudinally profiling wooden frame members for windows possesses at least one tool spindle (3) which is mounted in a spindle housing (2) so as to be vertically adjustable relative to a workpiece table (1) and which carries a plurality of superposed milling-tool sets (4, 5, 6), one of which in each case can be brought by vertical adjustment of the spindle housing (2) into the working position. Arranged on both sides of the tool spindle (3) is in each case a guide strip (7, 8) with a vertical bearing face (7a, 8a). Provided between each guide strip (7, 8) and a guide tongue (9, 10) assigned thereto is a respective guide-tongue support (11, 12), which is guided vertically displaceably on the associated guide strip (7, 8) by means of guide device (13, 14), so that the guide tongue (9, 10) arranged on it is always aligned with the bearing face (7a, 8a) of the assigned guide strip (7, 8). The guide-tongue support (11, 12) is mechanically coupled to the spindle housing (2) by a driving device (20, 21), so that the guide-tongue support (11, 12) is vertically adjustable synchronously with the spindle housing (2). The guide tongues (9, 10) extend in the vertical direction over all of the superposed milling-tool sets (4, 5, 6) and possess a plurality of cutouts (27, 28, 29) which are stepped in accordance with the individual milling cutters (4a, 4b, 4c; 5a, 5b, 5c; 6a, 6b, 6c) of the milling-tool sets (4, 5, 6) and closely adapted to the working diameter (D1, D2, D3) and to the working width (B1, B2, B3) of the assigned milling cutters. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Fräsmaschine zum Längsprofilieren von Rahmenhölzern für Fenster weist mindestens eine in einem gegenüber einem Werkstücktisch (1) vertikal verstellbaren Spindelgehäuse (2) gelagerten Werkzeugspindel (3) auf, die mehrere übereinander angeordnete Fräswerkzeugsätze (4, 5, 6) trägt, von denen jeweils einer durch Höhenverstellung des Spindelgehäuses (2) in Arbeitsstellung bringbar ist. Zu beiden Seiten der Werkzeugspindel (3) ist je eine Führungsleiste (7, 8) mit einer vertikalen Anlagefläche (7a, 8a) angeordnet. Zwischen jeder Führungsleiste (7, 8) und einer ihr zugeordneten Führungszunge (9, 10) ist je ein Führungszungenträger (11, 12) vorgesehen, der an der zugehörigen Führungsleiste (7, 8) mittels einer Führungseinrichtung (13, 14) vertikal verschiebbar so geführt ist, daß die an ihm angeordnete Führungszunge (9, 10) stets mit der Anlagefläche (7a, 8a) der zugeordneten Führungsleiste (7, 8) fluchtet. Der Führungszungenträger (11, 12) ist mit dem Spindelgehäuse (2) über eine Mitnahmeeinrichtung (20, 21) mechanisch so gekuppelt, daß der Führungszungenträger (11, 12) synchron mit dem Spindelgehäuse (2) höhenverstellbar ist. Die Führungszungen (9, 10) erstrecken sich in Höhenrichtung über alle übereinander angeordnete Fräswerkzeugsätze (4, 5, 6) und weisen mehrere, entsprechend den einzelnen Fräsern (4a, 4b, 4c; 5a, 5b, 5c; 6a, 6b, 6c) der Fräswerkzeugsätze (4, 5, 6) abgestufte, dem Arbeitsdurchmesser (D1, D2, D3) und der Arbeitsbreite (B1, B2, B3) der zugeordneten Fräser eng angepaßte Ausschnitte (27, 28, 29) auf.
