The invention relates to a device for supporting and cladding a bath tub or the like, having at least one support element (1) made of material which can easily be sawn or cut, such as polyurethane, polystyrene or similar plastic material, for supporting the tub body at least at its outwardly bent peripheral tub edge and having at least one cladding element which can be attached to the at least one support element and is, for example, plate-shaped, the at least one support element (1) having an essentially U-shaped design, the limbs (5, 6) of which extend essentially parallel to each other and are arranged essentially parallel to the standing surface of the tub and are supportable by their free ends (8) on the connecting web (9) of the limbs (5, 6) of an adjacent further support element (1) of similar orientation. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Abstützen und Verkleiden einer Badewanne od. dgl., mit wenigstens einem Stützelement (1) aus leicht säg- oder schneidbarem Material, wie Polyurethan, Polystyrol od. dgl. Kunststoff, für die Abstützung des Wannenkörpers wenigstens an seinem nach außen abgewinkelten umlaufenden Wannenrand und mit wenigstens einem an dem wenigstens einen Stützelement befestigbaren, z.B. plattenförmigen Verkleidungselement, wobei das wenigstens eine Stützelement (1) im wesentlichen U-förmige Gestalt hat, dessen Schenkel (5, 6) im wesentlichen parallel zueinander verlaufen und im wesentlichen parallel zur Wannenaufstandsfläche angeordnet sowie mit ihren freien Enden (8) an dem Verbindungssteg (9) der Schenkel (5, 6) eines anschließenden gleichorientierten weiteren Stützelements (1) abstützbar sind.
