A device for winding webs (26) onto core tubes (31) provided with an adhesive coating and held on driven shafts (55, 56) or holding spindles of at least two winding stations which are mounted rotatably about a central axis and are provided with a rotary drive, consists of guiding rollers (7, 8) which supply the web (26) to be wound on, a cutting blade (12) for severing the web (26) and a device (17) for pressing the new web beginning formed by the separating cut onto the core tube (31) to be wound anew. To prevent a loose end formed by the web beginning and protruding over the sticking point during winding, the cutting blade (17) can be moved on guides (20), which are fixed to the frame, between a retracted and an extended position. On its path into the extended position, in which the blade severs the web (26) running towards the virtually ready-wound roll in the vicinity of the core tube (31) to be wound anew, it contacts approximately tangentially the core tube (31) rotating in its direction of advance. Eine Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln von Bahnen (26) auf mit einem Klebstoffauftrag versehene Wickelhülse (31), die auf angetriebenen Wellen (55, 56) oder Haltedornen von mindestens zwei um eine zentrale Achse drehbare gelagerten und mit einem Drehantrieb versehenen Wickelstationen gehaltert sind besteht aus die aufzuwickelnde Bahn (26) zuführenden Leitrollen (7, 8), einem die Bahn (26) durchtrennenden Trennmesser (12) und einer Einrichtung (17) zum Andrücken des durch den Trennschnitt gebildeten neuen Bahnanfangs auf die neu zu bewickelnde Wickelhülse (31). Um beim Aufwickeln eine über die Anklebestelle überstehende, durch den Bahnanfang gebildete Fahne zu vermeiden, ist das Trennmesser (17) auf gestellfesten Führungen (20) zwischen einer zurückgezogenen und einer ausgefahrenen Stellung bewegbar. Auf seinem Wege in die ausgefahrene Stellung, in der es die zu der nahezu fertig gewickelten Rolle laufende Bahn (26) nahe der neu zu bewickelnden Wickelhülse (31) durchtrennt, berührt es etwa tangential die in seiner Vorschubrichtung rotierende Wickelhülse (31). Das Trennmesser (17) nimmt dabei den durch Trennschnitt gebildeten Bahanfang mit und drückt diesen an die Wickelhülse (31) an.
