Abstract (en)
To join two yarn ends of textile staple yarns, at the present time it is customary to splice with compressed air in a yarn-splicing device. For this, the yarn ends are inserted into a yarn-splicing channel which is made in a yarn-splicing head. It has been shown that the surface of the splicing channel has an appreciable influence on the splicing result. To make it possible, with splicing channels (6), to ensure a reproducible predetermined quality of the surface, it is proposed that the splicing channel (6) be formed by a ceramic insert (7). The splicing head (2) has a recess (8) matched to the ceramic insert (7), and the ceramic insert is fitted into this recess. The surface quality of the splicing channels (6) can thereby be reproduced in an easily predeterminable way. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Zum Verbinden zweier Fadenenden textiler Stapelfasergarne ist heutzutage das Spleißen mit Druckluft in einer Fadenspleißvorrichtung üblich. Die Fadenenden werden dazu in einen Fadenspleißkanal eingelegt, der in einem Fadenspleißkopf eingearbeitet ist. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß die Oberfläche des Spleißkanals einen wesentlichen Einfluß auf das Spleißergebnis hat. Um bei Spleißkanälen (6) eine reproduzierbare, vorgegebene Beschaffenheit der Oberfläche zu ermöglichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Spleißkanal (6) von einem Keramikeinsatz (7) gebildet ist. Der Spleißkopf (2) weist eine dem Keramikeinsatz (7) angepaßte Ausnehmung (8) auf und der Keramikeinsatz ist in diese Ausnehmung eingepaßt. Die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit der Spleißkanäle (6) kann dadurch leicht vorgebbar reproduziert werden.
