The invention relates to a boiler equipped with a downstream burner, with waste gas temperature regulation, which consists of a water-bearing housing (1) with a combustion chamber (2) which is surrounded by an annular heating gas flue (5) which leads to the smoke gas take-off and is divided into individual flues (4) by a large number of longitudinal ribs (3). In the region on the take-off side, there is arranged a sealing flap (6) which is adjustable depending upon the waste gas temperature and covers one or more individual flues (4). According to the invention, such a boiler equipped with a downstream burner is designed in such a manner that there is arranged in front of the sealing flap (6) in the heating gas flue (5) a longitudinal rib-free smoke gas duct (7) with a width which corresponds at least to the width of three individual flues (4). The width and cross-sectional shape of the sealing flap (6) corresponds at the same time to the cross-section of the smoke gas duct (7). The flap (6) is provided with a bimetallic regulator (8). The smoke gas duct (7) is arranged below the mouth (12) of the waste gas connection piece (9) and the bimetallic regulator (8) of lever-like design is fastened with its flap-free end (13) in the waste gas connection piece (9). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Sturzbrennerheizkessel mit Abgastemperaturregelung, der aus einem wasserführenden Gehäuse (1) mit Brennkammer (2) besteht, die von einem ringförmigen, zum Rauchgasabzug führenden, durch eine Vielzahl von Längsrippen (3) in Einzelzüge (4) gegliederten Heizgaszug (5) umgeben ist. Im abzugsseitigen Bereich ist eine abgastemperatur-abhängig verstellbare, einen oder mehrere Einzelzüge (4) abdeckende Verschlußklappe (6) angeordnet. Nach der Erfindung ist ein solcher Sturzbrennerheizkessel derart ausgebildet, daß vor der Verschlußklappe (6) im Heizgaszug (5) ein längsrippenfreier Rauchgaskanal (7) mit einer Breite angeordnet ist, die mindestens der Breite dreier Einzelzüge (4) entspricht. Die Breite und Querschnittsform der Verschlußklappe (6) entspricht dabei dem Querschnitt des Rauchgaskanales (7). Die Klappe (6) ist mit einem Bimetall-Regler (8) versehen. Der Rauchgaskanal (7) ist unter der Einmündung (12) des Abgasstutzens (9) angeordnet und der hebelartig ausgebildete Bimetall-Regler (8) ist mit seinem klappenfreien Ende (13) im Abgasstutzen (9) befestigt.
