A rodless pressure-fluid actuator in which a power take-off (15) is connected to the working piston (13) via a lateral extension (14) has a brake device (19). This brake device (19) acts with a brake lining (27) on the outside of the pressure-fluid actuator (11). Ein kolbenstangenloser Druckmittelzylinder, bei dem eine Kraftabnahme (15) über einen seitlichen Ansatz (14) mit dem Arbeitskolben (13) verbunden ist, weist eine Bremseinrichtung (19) auf. Diese greift mit einem Bremsbelag (27) an der Außenseite des Druckmittelzylinders (11) an. Das Angreifen erfolgt derart, daß auf den Ansatz (14) keine Querkräfte ausgeübt werden.
