Abstract (en)
The highly permeable drum for the wet or dry treatment of textile material, paper or other permeable materials of some width consists simply of narrow sheet-metal strips and of narrow webs, the width extension of which is oriented in the radial direction. The sheet-metal strips extend in an axis-parallel manner. According to the development of this basic construction, the sheet-metal strips (10) each consist of at least two strips (26, 27) of half their thickness. The sheet-metal strips thus lying next to one another are arranged offset radially to one another, so that only half the total thickness of a sheet-metal strip is located on the outer circumference, this further increasing the air permeability of the drum substantially. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die stark durchlässige Trommel zum Naß- oder Trockenbehandeln von Textilgut, Papier oder sonstigen durchlässigen Materialien einer gewissen Breite besteht lediglich aus schmalen Blechstreifen und schmalen Stegen, deren Breitenausdehnung in radialer Richtung ausgerichtet ist. Die Blechstreifen erstrecken sich achsparallel. Gemäß der Weiterentwicklung dieser grundsätzlichen Konstruktion bestehen die Blechstreifen (10) aus zumindest jeweils zwei halb so dicken Streifen (26, 27). Die damit nebeneinander liegenden Blechstreifen sind radial versetzt zueinander angeordnet, so daß am Außenumfang nur noch die Hälfte der Gesamtdicke eines Blechstreifens angeordnet ist, was die Luftdurchlässigkeit der Trommel nochmal wesentlich erhöht.
