The invention relates to a front attachment for lift trucks which is intended for taking hold of, lifting, slewing and depositing cylindrical bodies and has two gripping arms 8 and 10. The object of the invention is to provide a front attachment which enables the gripping arms 8 and 10 to effectively reach around the cylindrical body to be picked up when the latter is lying with a horizontal axis on the ground, the front attachment on the other hand also being designed in such a way that, when the cylindrical body is put down, its axis can be exactly vertical. For this purpose, an intermediate component 16, 22 is provided on which the supporting part 7 on which the gripping arms 8 and 10 are mounted is rotatably mounted, the intermediate component 16, 22 being pivotable to a limited extent by means of a drive 17, 23, 24 about a pivot axis 18 relative to the component 15, 20, 21 which can be attached to the supporting plate 4 of the lifting slide. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Vorbaugerät für Hublader, welches zum Ergreifen, Anheben, Schwenken und Absetzen von zylindrischen Körpern vorgesehen ist und zwei Greifarme 8 und 10 aufweist. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Vorbaugerät zu schaffen, durch das ein gutes Umgreifen des aufzunehmenden zylindrischen Körpers ermöglicht ist, wenn dieser mit horizontaler Achse auf dem Boden liegt, wobei das Vorbaugerät andererseits aber auch derart gestaltet ist, daß bei Absetzen des zylindrischen Körpers dessen Achse genau vertikal stehen kann. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein Zwischenbauteil 16, 22 vorgesehen, an dem das Tragteil 7, an dem die Greifarme 8 und 10 gelagert sind, drehbar gelagert ist, wobei das Zwischenbauteil 16, 22 um eine Schwenkachse 18 gegenüber dem an die Tragplatte 4 des Hubschlittens anhängbaren Bauteil 15, 20, 21 mittels eines Antriebs 17, 23, 24 in begrenztem Maß schwenkbar ist.
