In a combined road-rail transportation system consisting of a locomotive, semi-trailer motor vehicles, semi-trailers and rail running gear, the semi-trailers are provided at the ends with in each case one kingpin and the rail running gear is provided with two fifth- wheel couplings arranged in the travel direction one behind the other on a coupling adaptor connected in articulated fashion to the rail running gear. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Straßen-Schienen-Transportsystem aus einer Lokomotive, Sattelzugmaschinen, Sattelaufliegern (9) und Schienenlaufwerken (29) sind die Sattelauflieger (9) stirnseitig mit je einem Königszapfen und das Schienenlaufwerk (29) mit zwei in Fahrtrichtung hintereinander auf einem gelenkig mit dem Schienenlaufwerk (29) verbundenen Kupplungsadapter (1) angeordneten Sattelkupplung (3) versehen.
