Abstract (en)
The device is of the type comprising a connecting bar (16) articulated at one end on one of the elements (10). The said connecting bar is provided at its free end with a transverse groove (20) allowing the attachment of the bar to a male part (22) protruding from the other element (12). On the connecting bar there is fitted a slider (24) having at one of its ends a notch which, when the slider is displaced towards the free end of the bar, engages with the said male part, thus preventing the bar from being raised. The invention is applied in particular to stepladders. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un dispositif de liaison destiné à rendre indéformable l'angle formé par deux éléments reliés par un pivot, du type comprenant une barre de liaison (16) articulée à une extrémité sur l'un des éléments (10) Ladite barre de liaison est pourvue à son extrémité libre d'une encoche transversale (20) permettant l'accrochage de la barre sur une pièce mâle (22) faisant saillie sur l'autre élément (12). Sur la barre de liaison est monté un coulisseau (24) présentant à l'une de ses extrémités une entaille qui, lorsque le coulisseau est déplacé vers l'extrémité libre de la barre, vient en prise avec ladite pièce mâle, empêchant ainsi de soulever la barre. L'invention s'applique en particulier aux échelles doubles.
