[origin: WO8904348A1] The present invention is a polyamide composition which is resistant to fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon permeation and at the same time has controllable flexibility. The composition of the present invention comprises from about 50 to 90 percent by weight of a polyamide, from about 5 to 40 percent by weight of a rubber phase that may be melt-processed at from about 425 to 625 DEG F (218 to 329 DEG C) without significant degradation, and from about 5 to 40 percent of a polar polyethylene. The composition can also have from about 0 to 15% by weight of a plasticizer and from about 0 to 10% by weight of a polyamide chain extender.

La présente invention est une composition de polyamide résistant à la pénétration de fluorocarbones et d'hydrocarbures et ayant en même temps une souplesse régulable. La composition de la présente invention comprend environ 50 à 90% en poids d'un polyamide, environ 5 à 40% en poids d'une phase de caoutchouc pouvant être traitée à chaud entre environ 425 et 625°F (218 à 329°C) sans dégradation significative, et environ 5 à 40% d'un polyéthylène polaire. La composition peut également comporter environ 0 à 15% en poids d'un plastifiant et environ 0 à 10% en poids d'un agent d'extension de la chaîne de polyamide.
