[origin: WO9002683A1] Craft having a wing (1), symmetrical according to a plane, connected at the top of a mast (2) by means of a flexible joint or a swivel and which is handled by means of a control bar (5) perpendicular to the wing under the latter, and comprising at its base a handle bar (7). The rotation of the handle bar allows to steer a boat having a center board (8). The mast is either fixed or movable rotating about an axis directed according to the longitudinal axis of the craft. The wing is comprised of two half wings which are not in the same plane. The wing may consist of a sailcloth stretched on an articulated armature which may be folded on unfolded like a parasol so as to bring together the sailcloth within a small volume about the handle (6) which is used to manoeuvre the sail, or on the contrary to stretch the sail cloth close to a plane perpendicular to the handle (5). The armature has essentially 3 bars (18, 19 and 20) and is kept open by means of a system including 3 small bars (24, 25 and 26) of which one end slides along the handle (5). The cloth (28) at the vicinity of the leading edge of the sail may be cambered by means of a lath (29) which bends at the opening. Applications: beach craft, sport and leisure boats, sail bicycle, delta-plane.

Engin à voile dont la voilure est une aile (1), symétrique selon un plan, reliée au sommet d'un mât (2) par une articulation souple ou une rotule et que l'on manoeuvre à l'aide d'une barre (5) de commande, perpendiculaire à l'aile sous celle-ci, comportant à sa base un guidon (7). La rotation du guidon permet de diriger un bateau ayant une dérive (8). Le mât est soit fixe, soit mobile en rotation autour d'un axe dirigé selon l'axe longitudinal de l'engin. L'aile est constituée de deux demi-ailes qui ne sont pas dans le même plan. Elle peut être faite d'une toile tendue sur une armature articulée qui peut se plier ou se déplier à la manière d'un parasol de façon à amener toute la toile dans un petit volume rassemblé autour du manche (5) qui sert à la manoeuvre de la voile, ou au contraire à étendre la toile proche d'un plan perpendiculaire au manche (5). L'armature, constituée principalement de trois barres (18, 19 et 20) est maintenue ouverte par un système de tringlerie à trois petites barres (24, 25 et 26) dont une extrémité coulisse le long du manche (5). Le tissu (28) proche du bord d'attaque de la voilure peut être cambré à l'aide d'une latte (29) qui se courbe à l'ouverture. Applications: engin de plage, bateaux de sport et de loisir, bicyclette à voile, delta-plane.
