In a snow plow having a chassis (4) with at least two lateral traction wheels (8), a front-side plowing device (9) and, for the joint driving thereof, a driving unit equipped with a mechanism with torque division and a motor, the invention proposes to prevent noise or exhaust-gas emissions and to reduce the maintenance and operating costs and also to overcome starting difficulties in severe weather in that an electric motor (1) is arranged to form the plow's drive and this motor is provided with a trailing cable (2) for supplying energy, the live conductor (3) being connected by means of a switching device to the electric motor (1), and a cable-supply means having a cable mast (5) is arranged on the chassis (4) of the snow plow (20), the trailing cable (2) being led over the upper free end (6) of said mast.

Bei einer Schneefräse mit einem Fahrgestell (4), das wenigstens zwei seitliche Traktionsräder (8) aufweist, sowie an der Frontseite eine Fräseinrichtung (9) und zu deren gemeinsamem Antrieb ein mit einem Verzweigungsgetriebe und einem Motor ausgestattetes Triebwerk, wird zur Vermeidung von Lärm oder Abgasausstoß bzw. zur Verringerung der Wartungs- und Betriebskosten sowie zur Überwindung von Startschwierigkeiten im strengen Winter mit der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß zu deren Antrieb ein Elektromotor (1) angeordnet ist und dieser zur Energieeinspeisung einSchleppkabel (2) aufweist, dessen stromführende Leiter (3) über eine Schalteinrichtung an den E-Motor (1) angeschlossen sind, und daß am Fahrgestell (4) der Schneefräse (20) eine Kabelzuführungseinrichtung mit einem Kabelmast (5) angeordnet ist, über dessen oberes, freies Ende (6) das Schleppkabel (2) geführt ist.
