[origin: JPH02271069A] PURPOSE: To isolate a fuel injection valve from a valve carrier completely acoustically by encompassing both end faces of a collar by a shaped ring of an elastomer material that lies in the vicinity of the bearing surface of a bearing shoulder and a holder. CONSTITUTION: A holder 25 is secured to a valve carrier 11 by axial force so as to be put in contact with the backside of an end flange 26 on a bayonet member casing 16 in opposition to a valve casing 15 and with the surface of the valve carrier 11, with the result that a fuel injection valve 10 is fixed axially within a receiving bore 12. For the acoustic isolation of the fuel injection valve 10 from the valve carrier 11, a collar 21 is encompassed by a shaped ring 27 of an elastomer material that fits on both end faces of the collar 21, at least in the vicinity of the bearing surface of a bearing shoulder 24 and the holder 25. By this arrangement, the fuel injection valve 10 and the valve carrier 11 are fixedly coupled together as well as isolated acoustically from each other desirably.
