Abstract (en)

A method and a device for winding predetermined lengths of yarn in layers on a bobbin by means of a winding element, especially for winding roving onto flyer bobbins (46) on a flyer, a relative axial to-and-fro movement occurring between the winding element (5, 44) and the bobbin during the winding operation, are characterised in that, to obtain a predetermined location of the yarn end or roving end on the bobbin (46), the wound-up length of yarn is continuously measured during the winding operation, and in that, when a predetermined wound-up length of yarn corresponding approximately to one of the last layers, but shorter than the predetermined length of yarn is reached, the relative axial position of the winding element (5, 44) and of the bobbin (46) or a parameter proportional to this is determined, and the device varying the relative position is so controlled that the length of yarn still remaining up to the predetermined length of yarn comes to an end at least essentially at the predetermined location as a result of controlled relative axial to-and-fro movements differing in amplitude from the previous amplitude. <IMAGE>

Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Aufwickeln von vorbestimmten Garnlängen in Lagen auf einer Spule mit Hilfe eines Aufwickelelementes, insbesondere zum Aufwickeln von Vorgarn auf Flyerspulen (46) an einem Flyer, wobei eine relative, axiale Hin- und Herbewegung zwischen dem Aufwickelelement (5,44) und der Spule während des Aufwickelns stattfindet, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß zum Erreichen einer vorgegebenen Stelle des Garnendes bzw. des Vorgarnendes auf der Spule (46) die aufgespulte Garnlänge während des Aufwickelns laufend gemessen wird, daß beim Erreichen einer vorgegebenen aufgewickelten Garnlänge, welche in etwa einer der letzten Lagen entspricht, jedoch kurzer als die vorbestimmte Garnlänge ist, die relative, axiale Stellung des Aufwickelelementes (5,44) und der Spule (46) oder ein dieser proportionaler Parameter ermittelt wird, und die die relative Stellung verändernde Einrichtung derart gesteuert wird, daß die bis zu der vorbestimmten Garnlänge noch verbleibende Garnlänge durch gezielte relative, axiale, in ihrer Amplitude von der bisherigen Amplitude abweichende Hin- und Herbewegungen zumindest im wesentlichen an der vorgegebenen Stelle zu Ende geht.
