Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0386600A1] When two swivel wings closing a wall aperture or the like are equipped with rebates (6, 7), a complete closure of the two wings can be obtained only when a specific closing sequence is adhered to. Where a passage wing (1) and a standing wing (2) are concerned, in principle the standing wing has to be closed before the passage wing can be closed. It is possible, however, to keep the passage wing in a particular opening position until the opened standing wing has been swung past it in the closing direction. This opening position of the passage wing is secured automatically by means of a blocking device (24) when the standing wing (2) is in an opening position, and it is unimportant how far it is opened. A closing-sequence control consists of a catch mechanism assignable to the door closer (10) of the passage wing (1) and of a release mechanism assignable to the door closer (11) of the standing wing (2), these mechanisms being coupled purely mechanically to one another via a tension member (37). <IMAGE>
