Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0386651A2] A window grip (10) has a coupling (K) surrounding the grip neck (14) and having mutually spring-loaded rings (50, 52) which have control tracks (60, 62) for engagement into and disengagement from given angular positions of the handle. They make it possible, when the grip is rotated, to carry out the locking and unlocking in such a way that the pivoting of the window is possible only with the handle released, but the latter, even when closed, allows a permanent tilted ventilation position. The control tracks (60, 62) are arranged on mutually confronting cylinder end faces. Alternating raised and recessed circle-arc segments with control-track transitions located between them form pairs vertically offset in pairs. Circumferential slopes (64) make it possible, even with the closing unit (20) locked, to move the handle into the tilted position through 90 DEG to the right or left. Further rotation is impossible, but it can be rotated back into the closing position. To open the window by pivoting, the blocking bolt (22) has to be pushed back; the coupling (K) then comes free. <IMAGE>
