[origin: EP0386749A1] The water-tight section made of swell- weather- and chemical- resistant elastomeric material of symmetrical basic structure is constructed as follows: a) four prestressed, arcuate ribs (3, 4, 5, 6) extend laterally from the centrally arranged basic body (2) which is substantially rectangular seen in cross-section, in each case two ribs, namely the upper and lower rib, gripping round the roof-slab end (11, 12) in clamping fashion; b) the basic body (2) possesses at least one embedded thread (8) with sufficient adhesive strength relative to the elastomer, thickness and tensile strength. <IMAGE>
