Device for marking the crystal orientation and rectifying a bar, comprising: a guide part (30) having a first receptacle (32) capable of receiving said bar (18) and having a plane face (34) intersecting the first receptacle (32) so as to form an orifice (36) of specific width along the first receptacle (32); a fastening means capable of fastening the bar (18) inside the receptacle (32) of the guide part (30). The invention is used for producing marking flats on bars of semiconductor and of monocrystalline material which are intended for the manufacture of wafers. <IMAGE>

Dispositif pour le repérage de l'orientation cristalline et la rectification d'un barreau comprenant : une pièce de guidage (30) possédant un premier logement (32) apte à recevoir ledit barreau (18) et présentant une face plane (34)coupant le premier logement (32) de manière à ménager une ouverture (36) de largeur déterminée le long du premier logement (32) ; un moyen de fixation apte à fixer le barreau (18) à l'intérieur du logement (32) de la pièce de guidage (30). Application à la réalisation des méplats de repérage sur des barreaux de matériau semiconducteur et monocristallin destinés à la production de tranches (wafers).
