Inclinable telescopic ladder comprising a first fixed element (1), a final mobile element (2), and possibly one or more intermediate elements, as well as a working basket (3) carried by the mobile element (2) and articulated at its base (4) on support hinges (5, 5a) which are themselves articulated permanently (6) in the vicinity of the end of the mobile element (2), with a basket turning-movement mechanism in order to move it from its working position to a transport position, fitted into the top of the ladder and vice-versa, characterised in that the said mechanism for turning the basket is an automatic mechanism and comprises: - an arrangement (9) carried by the mobile element (2), and - an operating device (10) carried by the fixed element (1) to interact with the said arrangement (9) when the ladder is in the folded state. <IMAGE>

Echelle télescopique inclinable comportant un premier élément fixe (1), un dernier élément mobile (2), et éventuellement un ou plusieurs éléments intermédiaires, ainsi qu'un panier de travail (3) porté par l'élément mobile (2) et articulé à sa base (4) sur des charnières supports (5,5a), elles-mêmes articulées de manière permanente (6) au voisinage de l'extrémité de l'élément mobile (2), avec un mécanisme de basculement de panier pour le faire passer de sa position de travail à une position de transport, emboité sur le dessus de l'échelle et inversement, caractérisée par le fait que ledit mécanisme de basculement du panier est à fonctionnement automatique et comprend : - un agencement (9) porté par l'élément mobile (2), et - un dispositif d'actionnement (10) porté par l'élément fixe (1) pour venir coopérer avec ledit agencement (9) lorsque l'échelle est à l'état reployé.
