[origin: EP0387200A2] For the transport of sheets away from a cross-printed portrait-size continuous form, the sheets which are cut off and freed from the perforated edge strips are first collected. The bundle of sheets collected thus can then be transported away at high speed without the cut sheets passing onto a quick-running conveyor belt and because of the high speed never coming to rest completely. The commonly observed displacement of the sequence of the sheets is thus eliminated completely and reliably.
