Apparatus of the type comprising a support receiving the cylinder head and which is characterised in that the cylinder head support is constituted by a clamping table carried by a support frame (1) on which the said table is mounted in a rotary manner on an axis having a generally horizontal direction, the said clamping table being mobile between two lockable positions, a mounting and dismounting position in which the cylinder head has its upper surface facing upwards, and a grinding position in which, by rotation through 180 DEG , the cylinder head has its lower surface facing upwards for the purpose of grinding the valve seats, and in that the support frame (1) carries a grinding device as well as a device for mounting and dismounting the valves. The present invention concerns the reconditioning of heat engines and allows the successive operations of dismounting, grinding and reassembly to be carried out on one and the same work station without the cylinder head having to be removed from the apparatus. <IMAGE>

Appareil du type comportant un support recevant la culasse, et il est notamment remarquable en ce que le support de la culasse est constitué par une table de bridage portée par un bâti-support (1) sur lequel ladite table est montée rotative sur un axe de direction générale horizontale, ladite table de bridage étant mobile entre deux positions verrouillables, une position de montage-démontage dans laquelle la culasse présente sa face supérieure vers le haut, et une position de rectifiage dans laquelle, par retournement à 180°, la culasse présente sa face inférieure vers le haut en vue du rectifiage des sièges de soupape, et en ce que le bâti-support (1) porte un dispositif de rectifiage ainsi qu'un dispositif de montage-démontage des soupapes. La présente invention concerne la remise en état des moteurs thermiques et permet de réaliser sur un seul et même poste de travail les opérations successives de démontage, de rectifiage et de remontage sans que la culasse ne soit démontée de l'appareil.
