Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0387729A2] 2.1 Electronic control for a contactor for regulating the DC supply in the case of a fluctuating supply voltage and a varying winding resistance of the drive coil, by means of current pulsing and a freewheeling circuit for maintaining the contactor during the phases when the current is switched off. The invention is based on the object of providing a control with a high current load capability and ensuring low-loss precise current measurement for actual value detection in the regulation loop. <??>2.2 The invention is characterised in that the actuator of the regulation loop is an integrated power semi-conductor circuit which contains a large number of FETs connected in parallel, at least one of which is used as measurement output (6) for detecting the load current flowing through the other parallel paths, in that the current signal of the measurement output (6) is converted into a voltage signal (9), using an operational amplifier (8) connected as a current-voltage converter, and is used as the actual value for the regulating elements (10, 11, 12) of the current pulsing. <??>2.3 DC contactors having a regulated supply. <IMAGE>
