Abstract (en)
A socket for a fluorescent lamp has a plastic body (13) in which there is fitted a female contact (14) for at least one pin of the lamp. A connecting lead (32) is connected to the end of the female contact (14) remote from the lamp. In order that both a single-pin cap as well as a twin-pin cap fluorescent lamp can be inserted into the female contact, the female contact (14) has a central female contact (17) for a single-pin of a single-pin cap fluorescent lamp and a female contact (23, 24) on each side thereof for holding the pins of a twin-pin cap fluorescent lamp. The female contact (14) is in this case latched in the plastic body by means of a latching element (29) and the connecting lead (32) is crimped on the end of the female contact (14) remote from the lamp in a tubular projection (30), integrally formed on said female contact. <IMAGE>

Eine Fassung für eine Leuchtstofflampe besitzt einen Kunststoffkörper (13) in dem ein Buchsenteil (14) für wenigstens einen Stift der Lampe eingebracht ist. Am lampenabseitigen Ende des Buchsenteils (14) ist eine Anschlußleitung (32) angeschlossen. Damit in das Buchsenteil sowohl eine Einstiftsockel- als auch eine Zweistiftsockelleuchtstofflampe einfügbar ist, besitzt das Buchsenteil (13) eine Zentralbuchse (17) für einen Einzelstift einer Einstiftsockelleuchtstofflampe und beidseitig zu dieser je eine Buchse (23, 24) für die Aufnahme der Stifte einer Zweistiftsockelleuchtstofflampe. Das Buchsenteil (13) ist dabei mittels eines Rastelements (29) im Kunststoffkörper verrastet und die Anschlußleitung 32 am lampenabseitigen Ende des Buchsenteils (14) in einem daran angeformten Rohrfortsatz (30) verquetscht.
