2.1. Derartige Schalter sind innerhalb ihres Isolierstoffgehäuses mit einer Löschkammer versehen, die in den eigentlichen, meist mit einem Löschblechstapel ausgefüllten Lichtbogenlöschbereich und in einen davor befindlichen trichterförmigen Vorkammerraum mit der Kontaktanordnung aufgeteilt ist. dieser Vorkammerraum ist so gestaltet, daß der Schaltlichtbogen beim Ablaufen von der Kontaktstelle einen besonders niedrigen Strömungswiderstand mit verbesserter Lichtbogenführung vorfindet und die Löschkammer insgesamt im Aufbau vereinfacht ist. Im Vorkammerraum (3c) sind an den inneren Seitenflächen (3a) zwei in Öffnungsebene des schwenkbaren Kontakthebels (5b) vorstehende Stege (3d, 3e) angeformt, die von der Kontaktanordnung (5) eng anliegend entlang von Lichtbogenlaufschienen (5a', 6, 7) bis zum Löschblechstapel (4) angeordnet sind. Zwischen den Stegen (3d, 3e) sind außerdem mehrere vom Grund der Seitenflächen (3a) aufsteigende Säulen (3f) etwa gleichmäßig verteilt angeordnet, die im Zusammenwirken mit den Stegen (3d, 3e) eine enge seitliche Führung des Schaltlichtbogens (9) bewirken. Der vor dem wandernden Lichtbogen (9') entstehende Gasdruck kann sich in den Strömungskanälen (8) zwischen den Säulen (3f) entspannen. Die Ausgestaltung des Vorkammerraumes ist besonders für die Löschkammer von Leitungsschutzschaltern in Schmalbauweise vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
