Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0388273A1] Machine for treating floors, of the type comprising a motor capable of rotationally driving at least one rotary tool by means of a drive shaft at least substantially orthogonal to the said tool, the said tool being connected to the said drive shaft by a disk (9) connected, in the vicinity of its outer periphery, to the tool (5) and, in the vicinity of its centre, to the drive shaft (7) and allowing a relative inclination of limited amplitude of the axis of rotation of the tool with respect to the said drive shaft. <??>According to the invention, the said disk (9) is produced from a material which is flexible perpendicular to its plane but which is rigid in its plane and the said disk (9) is mounted, between the said tool (5) and the said drive shaft (7) in such a way as to form, radially, at least one undulation about the axis of the tool when the said machine (1) rests on the said tool (5) and that the axis (12) of the said tool is coaxial with that (8) of the said drive shaft (7). <IMAGE>
