Abstract (en)
System for collecting, by means of a vehicle (A), refuse contained in bins (B) fixed on to a fixed support (S, D) by means of an arm (C). Another arm (F) fixed to the vehicle raises a bearing point of the bin (B) and an extension arm causes it to tilt over a feed opening leading to a zone (E) for compacting the refuse. A flap compresses the refuse and the opening of a shutter then causes them to pass into a refuse bin (H). The removal of rubbish is therefore entirely automatic. The bins (B) are lockable. Application to public places provided with bins having a fixed position and which are located at closely-spaced intervals. <IMAGE>
