A device for laying down web material (1) on a work table (2) comprises a laying carriage (3) which can be moved along the work table (2), which carriage is equipped with a material dispenser for receiving rotatably mounted web rolls, a clamping device for securing a web to be drawn off a web roll, and a cutting device for cutting to length the web drawn off a web roll and applied to the work table, and, if appropriate, interacts with a holding device for holding down the web beginning at the start of drawing off, this holding device being displaceable relative to the laying carriage. <??>To permit efficient laying down of any kind, and even of different types, of web material, the material dispenser (4) comprises a magazine drum (5) or the like which is mounted rotatably and driveably in the laying carriage (3) and is provided with holders for at least two, preferably three web rolls (6), the magazine drum (5) for each web roll (6) having its own clamp (7) assigned in a positionally fixed manner to said roll, and, by rotary displacements, in each case one web roll (6) and clamp (7) swinging into a delivery position (A) in which the clamp (7) situated in the vicinity of the work table surface (2a) aligns the web (1) to be drawn off the respective web roll (6) at an acute angle in relation to the work table surface (2a), and the cutting device (10) is seated in the drawing-off direction behind the delivery position (A) of the clamps (7) on the laying carriage (3), there additionally being provided on the laying carriage (3) a contact-pressure roller (13) which can be moved from a working position into a rest position and is capable of being placed on the web (1) drawn off.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Auflegen von Bandmaterial (1) auf einen Arbeitstisch (2) besteht aus einem dem Arbeitstisch (2) entlang verfahrbaren Legeschlitten (3), der mit einem Materialspender zur Aufnahme drehbar gelagerter Bandrollen, einer Klemmeinrichtung zum Festhalten eines von einer Bandrolle abziehbaren Bandes und einer Schneideinrichtung zum Ablängen des von einer Bandrolle abgezogenen und auf den Arbeitstisch aufgebrachten Bandes ausgerüstet ist und gegebenenfalls mit einer zum Legeschlitten relativverfahrbaren Halterungseinrichtung zum Niederhalten des Bandanfanges bei Abzugsbeginn zusammenwirkt. Um ein rationelles Auflegen beliebigen, auch unterschiedlichen Bandmaterials zu ermöglichen, umfaßt der Materialspender (4) eine dreh- und antreibbar im Legeschlitten (3) gelagerte Magazintrommel (5) od. dgl. mit Aufnahmen für wenigstens zwei, vorzugsweise drei Bandrollen (6), wobei die Magazintrommel (5) für jede Bandrolle (6) eine eigene, dieser lagefest zugeordnete Klemme (7) aufweist und durch Drehverstellung jeweils eine Bandrolle (6) und Klemme (7) in eine Abgabestellung (A) schwenkt, in der die im Nahbereich der Arbeitstischfläche (2a) sich befindende Klemme (7) das von der zugehörenden Bandrolle (6) abzuziehende Band (1) spitzwinkelig zur Arbeitstischfläche (2a) hin ausrichtet und sitzt die Schneideinrichtung (10) in Abziehrichtung hinter der Abgabestellung (A) der Klemmen (7) am Legeschlitten (3) und ist am Legeschlitten (3) zusätzlich eine aus einer Arbeits- in eine Ruhestellung bewegbare, auf das abgezogene Band (1) aufsetzbare Andrückrolle (13) vorgesehen.
