Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a fitting for bath tubs, with a mixing battery for mixing cold and hot water, and an inlet at the bottom of the tub. To permit simple mounting of the fitting, it is proposed according to the invention to arrange said fitting between an upper and a lower installation block (5, 6), all elements being arranged symmetrically around the longitudinal axis (A) of the installation shaft. The water flows from the mixing battery (24), arranged underneath the rim of the tub, through a central pipe (26) towards the lower installation block (6) and emerges at the lower end of the central pipe into a switching bush (28) which encloses said pipe. The outlet slots in the switching bush then communicate, depending on their position, either with a bath tub inlet (9) or a shower conduit (12). Provided in the lower region of the central pipe (26) is also a bimetallic column (36), with which the set temperature of the mixed water is maintained by displacement of the mixing cones of the mixing chamber. Using an additional adjusting unit, an automatic reduction mechanism for hot water can be set so that the diminishing hot water has a higher temperature than that set. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Armatur für Badewannen mit einer Mischbatterie zum Mischen von Kalt- und Heißwasser und einem Zulauf am Boden der Wanne. Um eine einfache Montage der Armatur zu ermöglichen, wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, diese zwischen einem oberen und einem unteren Installationsblock (5, 6) anzuordnen, wobei alle Elemente symmetrisch um die Längsachse (A) des Installationsschachtes angeordnet sind. Von der unterhalb des Wannenrandes angeordneten Mischbatterie (24) strömt das Wasser durch ein Zentralrohr (26) in Richtung auf den unteren Installationsblock (6) und tritt am unteren Ende des Zentralrohres in eine dieses ummantelnde Umschaltbuchse (28) aus. Die Austrittsschlitze der Umschaltbuchse kommunizieren dann je nach deren Stellung entweder mit einem Badewanneneinlaß (9) oder einer Duschleitung (12). Im unteren Bereich des Zentralrohres (26) ist noch eine Bimetallsäule (36) vorgesehen, mit der die eingestellte Temperatur des Mischwassers durch Verschieben der Mischkegel der Mischkammer aufrechterhalten wird. Mit einer zusätzlichen Verstelleinheit kann eine Nachlaß-Automatik für Heißwasser so eingestellt werden, daß das nachlaufende Heißwasser höhere Temperatur hat als eingestellt.
