Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0388599A2] The trailer-mounted gun with a lower mount (1) and upper mount (10, 14) has an undercarriage, the wheels (20) of which are supported on the lower mount so as to be vertically adjustable (hydraulic adjusting cylinders 25). For support in the field when a position is taken up, stays (5) are articulated on the lower mount (1). The stays (5), directed upwards in the travelling mode, are each equipped with an independently controllable hydraulic cylinder/piston unit (8) and their height can thereby be adjusted individually. With the undercarriage (20) raised in the combat position, therefore, the trailer-mounted gun can be tilted on all sides in relation to the base. Consequently, the direction of the axis of rotation of the upper mount (10) and therefore of the singularity in the range of the possible angle of inclination can be freely selected. <IMAGE>
